How: Every Member from Every Club Contributes “Any Amount” to the Annual Fund
Goal: Every Club is 100% EREY
Prize: Club Recognition “Banner” from Rotary International & Presentation from DG
The Gothenburg Club set the bar last year by becoming the only club in District 5630 to reach the prestigious status of EREY, meaning every member of their club contributed something to the Annual Fund during the Rotary year. Their club then stepped up further by each member contributing at least $100 to the Annual Fund making them a 100% EREY sustainable club, great job Gothenburg!
Remember 50% of all contributions to the Annual Fund come back to our District three years later for us to do great projects through the new grants program. Our District currently has 28 District Grant projects in motion doing service at both local and international projects. Our District also just received great news that our joint Global Grant application for solar lamp education with District 3190 in India was just approved, read more about that great opportunity in this month’s newsletter.
