District 5360 and PDG Ron Bazata’s name are the first entries on a new Membership Challenge banner for Rotary International Zones 21b and 27.
The award was presented at Zone Institute in Kansas City, September 8th. District 5630 had the largest per capita membership increase of some 20 districts in the 2011-2012 Rotary year.
During that year, the district added over 100 new members which resulted in an 8.5% increase in members.
Bazata credits achieving the Zone award to the membership drives of all clubs and the efforts of Paul Stec (Kearney Dawn) and Koby Rickertsen (Gothenburg) in helping the two new clubs in Broken Bow and Gothenburg get chartered.
