McCook Rotary celebrates one of their own as new DG

PDG Dian Edwards congratulates DG Duane Tappe at the “Passing of the Pin” dinner.

At the Passing of the Pin Dinner, Duane Tappe thanks Immediate Past District Governor Dian Edwards for her service. The dinner was held in North Platte June 29.

Several members of the McCook Rotary club made the 1 hour drive up highway 83 to North Platte to celebrate and show their support for their fellow club member, now District Governor Duane Tappe.  

Also in attendance were 10 past District Governors including District 5630’s first female district governors: Marcie Schmidt of Minden and Diane Finch-Oerter of North Platte Noon (pictured below). Diane was a member of the Arnold club when she was the district governor.
